A WHOLE LOT! I’m not (just) referring to formal education. Education at home is equally important. I guess people have different views when it comes to education. For some, when we say ‘well educated’, they immediately think about someone who went to a great school–probably earned a master’s degree. But for me, someone who is well-educated does not necessarily mean someone who finished college but rather someone who used education to the best of his abilities.

But I digress. Education empowers. Just knowing how to read and write gives you an edge versus someone who does not.
